She was the second Twelve designed by Olin Stephens and launched just a few weeks after Nyala.
1958-1964
She was the trial horse for Columbia (1958) and Constellation (1964) in the America’s Cup Defender Trials.
1984-present
Purchased by Robert H. Tiedemann (now deceased) who undertook an extensive two year restoration in which she was re-framed, a third of her planking was replaced, a new mast was stepped and the interior replaced. She is still owned by Elizabeth (Tiedemann) DuPont, who charters and races her through Seascope Yacht Charters.
